Transfer systems from castus are developed with customer needs in mind to address real-world challenges and improve work processes - such as handling an RTP (typ. 190 mm dia.) with integrated beta Drawer and Rack System for loading pumps, product tanks, pre-assembled filling needles and various other essential components.

The beta transfer container serves the purpose of a contamination-free loading and unloading of components in or out of the isolator, as well as transportation and storage. With a 60° rotational motion the Beta transfer container is docked to the Alpha port. Thanks to a lip seal, both parts become hermetically sealed.
The beta transfer PE container serves the purpose of loading and unloading components in or out of the isolator. The container is suitable for sterilization through gas or rays (not autoclaving). The beta transfer container is made of high quality plastic material and consists of a flange a sealing cover and the container itself. A special seamless weld production process makes the container easy to clean.
Liquid Transfer Option
Castus Liquid Transfer Container is a stainless-steel beta container is equipped with a TriClamp blind cover which can be designed with an individual number of nozzles to connect tubes. The outer tubes get closed with a S2S connector or TriClamp connection and after autoclaving the container, the Beta container is docked to the Alpha port as any other Beta equipment. The vessel and the product tank can then be connected to the system. For circulation, a minimum number of two nozzles/tubes is required.
Waste Handling
Beta Liner PE provides optimal protection of the operator and the product. This allows the simple unloading of contaminated material and waste out of the isolator. The material to be unloaded is placed into the liner, subsequently the film can be clipped or heat sealed off at the desired point. The detached bag can be then disposed of. Thanks to the special folding system 25 or 40m film can be mounted onto the PE carrier. A hard cover provides optimum protection.
